Our Get together BBQ and Fundraising on July 17, 2021 at Central Park in Burnaby, BC was successful. Almost all of the Tegaru Community members in BC were there for the event. It was a sober moment and yet joyful. We reflected on the sacrifices made and being made, and at the same time we celebrated the Heroism of our people. We acknowledged the challenges ahead and committed ourselves to join our people in overcoming the challenges. We pledged to continue raising funds, and spread awareness among Canadians and donors’ organizations to support the Humanitarian Drive in Tigray.
